It's a constant cycle of learning and balancing many dichotomies of leadership.
My passion is leadership because I understand the value of effective leadership in any organization. My ultimate goal is to help improve leadership within the first responder community to better equip them to adapt to today's challenging times, especially law enforcement.
In 2008, I deployed to Iraq as a Platoon Leader with the U.S. Army. The difficulties and challenges of that mission began my quest to master the fundamentals of leadership. Once I returned home, I continued my pursuit of effective leadership education and what it means to be a true leader.
Leadership isn't an end state. It's a constant cycle of learning and balancing many dichotomies of leadership. These constant forces routinely challenge managers and supervisors of all businesses, organizations and groups. It is during that period that you have two choices - get better or get worse.
I takes pleasure answering any leadership questions from anyone in a formal (or informal) position of authority and from any organization - no matter how big or small. Just shoot me a line anytime.
As an avid supporter of the First Responder community, I volunteer my time to write magazine articles for several news media outlets. My articles provide valuable insight to law enforcement, corrections, firefighters and EMS personnel.
My articles include interviews of high profile law enforcement figures and supporters. You can view my previous articles at any time by clicking on the My Previous Articles link.
